Caroline’s Coaching philosophy - To install a lifelong passion for skating for all ages, no matter what level they are.

Caroline’s coaching career spans over 40 years, moving from Ontario to BC and joining our club in 2014.

Caroline has been fully immersed in the skating world from a young girl along with her whole family.

Her mother had a business making skating dresses and her brother, nieces and nephews were also skaters. Caroline has two children, Katrena and Garrett, who are both high level skaters with Garrett becoming an international level ice dancer, winning many of his competitions.

Caroline, was a national level skater in singles and pairs, she coached skaters to National level, was provincial team coach and is now a well-respected coach of young children, teens and adults.  

Caroline’s objective is to provide a positive learning environment as she believes an enjoyment of skating directly influences learning.

Her teaching stresses the importance of being a well-rounded skater in all aspects of skating.
